Notice the Strawberries by Lyn Russell

An anxious man was running from a wild beast

towards an embankment. (This beast represents the regrets and things that anger us from our past.) When he climbed down the embankment to get away from the first beast another wild beast began biting at him from below. (This second beast represents our anxieties and concerns about our future.)

The man felt trapped and exhausted.

He stopped struggling for a moment and only then discovered neither beast could reach him.

A deep sense of peace welled up from within as he realised he was completely safe.

When he stopped he also noticed a wild strawberry bush, reached over and took one into his mouth and sighed “ah delicious!”

(The strawberries represent the delights and gifts of each present moment.)

Don’t miss out on the strawberries in your life!!
