The Human Dimension has provided individual, team, management and leadership development programs to thousands of people in more than a hundred different organisations across Australia and a number of other countries, for almost two decades. it works in partnership with a select number of large corporate clients to build sustainable workplace cultures and healthy organisations around the transformation of people.

Members of our team are known for their integrity and principle-centred approach. They are chosen for their integrity, passion, diverse skills and knowledge and in particular their capacity to improve client outcomes. The team is highly dedicated to designing and delivering programs based around your needs that promote durable and sustainable organisational and cultural change.

Our team

Gary Russell
BSW, Grad Dip Soc. Sc., MCC

Gary works with leaders and their teams to ensure there is alignment with vision, values and behaviours; where everyone is fully engaged and there is evidence of shared responsibility in the culture of the team or organisation.

His approach ensures retention of key staff; leadership capability is enhanced; time to achieve is reduced; sustainable performance is the norm in a climate of shared collaboration.

Gary is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) - the highest qualification awarded by the International Coach Federation.

Lyn Russell
B.A., Dip Ed

Lyn Russell is a personal effectiveness coach and an innovative educator and workshop leader. She is experienced in creating, delivering and providing life-changing programs internationally to assist individuals and organizations to develop their fullest potential. Lyn is very committed to working with people to equip them with skills and attitudes that will help enhance, heal and transform their relationships; communities and societies in a way that will help build a better more peaceful world.

Lyn has been working in this field throughout Australia for over twenty years and more recently over the past two years in Uganda, Rwanda and Fiji .She has been offering popular public programs in Ethics and Integrity, Creative Conflict Resolution, Assertive Communication, Women in Leadership and Couple Communication. Lyn has also worked in the area of human relations and team enhancement in the United Nations World Food Programme, World Vision Uganda and the Ugandan Prison System. She has worked in the area of reconciliation and conflict resolution with individuals from the organizations such as The Rwandan Unity and Reconciliation Commission and the Fiji Ministry for Reconciliation. Lyn has a strong philosophy of empowering those she works with and is currently offering a series of ‘Train the Trainer’ programs for groups across the Pacific and Africa.

Robert Styles
MusB., Grad Dip TAA, ACC

Robert's work and life experience has centred around music and education with many years experience in the government, public and private sectors. He is experienced in instructional design, training and facilitation, coaching, and public performance. In 2005 he was awarded Outstanding Trainer/Assessor of the Year by the ACT Government.

Robert believes in the unlimited potential of humankind. He is passionate about working with those who live to make a difference through their being and their profession.

Gabrielle Booty
B.AppSci (Psych), Post Grad Dip Psych., Dip Ed.

Gabrielle Booty has a strong background in psychology and education. With 20 years experience facilitating personal development and change with individuals and groups, Gabrielle has acted as a coach, consultant, educator, counsellor and facilitator in various environments, including primary, secondary and tertiary education, corporate and personal management.

Gabrielle's personal commitment and skill in facilitating change and development inspires others to achieve their fullest potential.

Peter Lightbody
BSc (Environmental)

Peter has worked for the past 10 years in business consulting and education in the government, financial services and IT sectors. His particular emphasis has been on helping people come together as a team, rather than as a group of individuals, to drive change in strategy, systems and the development of people.

He believes that the greatest resource an organisation has are the people who work there. His passion is working with organisations to help them embrace truly effective approaches to leadership and management.

Josie McLean
B Ec., Grad Dip Mngt., MAICD, MAHRI, PCC

Josie has a strong business background as a financial analyst, corporate strategic planner, financier, and business advisor. Josie has worked as a professional coach and change agent since 1999.

A futurist at heart, she is passionate about understanding the leadership requirements of our times and the future and is a part of several international networks to achieve this.

Her clients say it is always a pleasure to work with Josie, her sense of humour making the work enjoyable – and they are challenged and invigorated by her vision, leading edge ideas and optimism. Clients often reflect upon her ability to sense what they really need next.

Patrick Meegan

Patrick’s work and life experiences have focused around the arts and education, with many years spent in the public sector, managing and coordinating in client service, marketing and public relations roles.  

He has worked with Australia’s Indigenous youth from the central Australian communities as well as teaching young adults from many countries around the world.

Patrick shares a deep desire with other members of the team to help effect positive and lasting changes in people’s lives through processes that bring self awareness and help us all aspire to a higher good.

Patrick is a qualified professional coach who ensures we each  grow, learn and develop our unique capacities to make a difference.

Kerry Howells
B.A. (Hons), Dip Ed, PhD.

Kerry Howells has a strong academic background with a passion for issues to do with learning and teaching. Kerry has been lecturing in Universities throughout Australia and overseas for the last 13 years. Having just completed her PhD in Education from the University of Sydney, Kerry brings such a background to her coaching career - the experience of which spans management, corporate individuals, youth, and academics in Australia and overseas.

Kerry has facilitated teams in corporate and business management both in Australia and overseas. She is recognised for her generosity, integrity, depth of perception, and integration of heart and mind.

Tracey Johnson
BSW, Post Grad Dip Couns.

Tracey Johnson has worked as a Social Worker, individual and group therapist and project coordinator in human service organisations for the past 15 years. More recently she has added community development and coaching to her repertoire of skills.

She brings a wealth of knowledge and commitment to working with people in a dynamic and focussed way. Tracey is committed to working with individuals and teams to harness and develop peoples innate potential.

Paul Kinobi Kakensa
M.A. Human Rights, B.A. Phil. Law, Dip Soc. Sc., Dip Leadership Mgt.

Paul is a consultant and trainer in leadership, personal development, organisational change, women rights and African studies working presently in Uganda, East Africa. Paul Kinobi is an innovative team leader and facilitator specialized in leadership, personal development and management skills. Paul is committed in contributing to the transformation of individuals, teams and organizations enabling them to exceed their expected outcomes.
